THE END OF AN ERA

Yes, it's true! After an amazing run between October 2020 and March 2023, the weekly DJ streams on our Twitch channel International Afterparty are getting canned. A sad moment indeed.

Although viewership on the channel has remained stable in the times after the global lockdowns, we have experienced it was getting harder and harder to find enough DJs to fill the schedules. This simply made it very difficult for us to keep doing every week.

However, this is not the end of our Twitch-adventures, oh no! We have decided to prioritise quality over quantity. We want our channel to be a good representation of our EIA community as a whole.

What this means exactly is still a bit unknown and unclear. We are sitting on a lot of ideas that may or may not see the light of day in the coming months. We can tell you that - for now - we will be continuing streaming like we used at least one week per month.

For now, we are taking a couple of weeks off from Twitch to focus our time and energy on things like REIAL, and a long-needed refreshment of EIA in general.

We would like to end this update with a big, huge, massive, giant, enormous, humongous thank you to everyone that has in some way supported us the past 2,5 years . DJs, stream managers, followers, subscribers, lurkers, raiders, even the spam bots. You made this channel what it is today, and we love you so much!

Remember: this is not the end; just the end of the beginning.
